THE PROBLEM :

The culture of Montania aims to improve people's lives, in addition to providing a very close treatment and making them feel confident. However, no matter how hard the company tried, it could not fully comply with this, since clients needed to be aware of their project and follow up, that is why many times they looked for a very constant communication and sometimes even outside of schedule, generating discomfort to the company as well as to themselves.

THE SOLUTION PROPOSED :

A web platform that can show the work of the company, its portfolio, allows to quote and, above all, improve communication with its clients during the process, thus enabling the digitization of the project monitoring process.

Empathize

1. GETTING TO KNOW THE COMPANY

We had contact with the company through Laboratoria, we met the founder and by filling in a brief, in addition to conducting interviews, we were able to obtain information about the company, its vision, objectives, challenges and expectations.

Here we met the soul of Montania!

We also established contact channels and weekly meeting schedules to demonstrate progress and feedback. We began to find out about the process that Montania carries out with its clients, from how they reached their clients, which were the channels they used for their first contact with them, to what the delivery of the final service was like. For this we interview the founder and five of her clients.

2. GETTING TO KNOW THE USERS

After learning more about the company, we decided to continue with the target users of Montania, based on the segment it is aimed at, we contacted them and developed a script aimed at knowing their experience with Montania. Since they are people from Mexico, these interviews were conducted remotely.

In order to understand in greater detail the needs of the interviewed clients, we elaborated an affinity map which allowed us to obtain information patterns between them to find the findings.

3. BENCHMARCK

Having clear the objectives and limitations of the project, we carried out a comparative study on the products and services of the area that interested us, in order to detect the best practices and their applications. ‍

We took into account many factors when taking it, studying both companies in the design and architecture sector, as well as social networks and companies such as Amazon that handle the shipping process.‍

DEFINITION

USER PERSONA

After the meetings with Montania, interviews with clients and the download of information, a user person was developed in which we reflected the main characteristics of our interviewees, their lifestyle as well as their needs, frustrations and other important aspects for the investigation.

IDEATION

HOW MIGHT WE?

Having identified the findings and after defining the problems that users had with the service provided by Montania, we developed an HMW in which we devised the possible ways we could have to solve them.

After a brainstorming session in order to obtain all possible ideas, we chose the ones that best solved the problem, guiding us in addition to feasibility

PROTOTYPING

1. LOW FIDELITY

We started making wireframes from paper and after several iterations and feedback from the team and the client, this prototype version was obtained to have it as a base‍

2. HIGH FIDELITY

After many tests and constant iteration, we defined a prototype which would be tested directly with users and clients of Montania, it should be noted that this version is not the final, but it was iterated again after the tests‍

TESTING

USER TESTING

Although the prototypes were tested throughout the process, these tests had not been carried out with Montania clients.

That is why we tested our high-fidelity prototype with its target users, since they were people from Mexico, the tests were done remotely. The users were accompanied by two members of the squad, each one had a role: one was in charge of guiding the session and the other of making the corresponding notes.

ITERATION

¡LET'S MAKE IT BETTER AGAIN!

The platform design process took place in an environment of constant iteration, thanks to permanent feedback from the Laboratoria team and frequent meetings with the client.

Having thus many versions and pages of each of the sections (the image represents less than a quarter).

Also as a result of the tests we were able to adjust and improve the high-fidelity prototype. After many iterations finally have a minimalist, understandable, interactive and above all usable platform.
